About Therapy
THERAPEUTIC APPROACH
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and strengths-based, customized to each client’s needs. I utilize an array of evidence-based treatment models and frameworks including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), mindfulness, and somatic approaches.
The therapeutic process includes developing a strong and collaborative therapeutic relationship between the client and therapist. I understand the importance of creating a welcoming and non-judgmental therapeutic space for my clients to hold and process their experiences and emotions, and to work toward their goals.
As the client, you are the expert of yourself and your experiences. It is my responsibility as a therapist to work to understand my clients’ lived experiences to best support them in therapy sessions. I want to meet you where you are!
I WORK WITH
I am passionate about working with adults from all backgrounds and walks of life, including creative minds, curious spirits, highly sensitive folks, and lifelong learners. I am LGBTQ+ affirming, committed to anti-racist work, and approach all of my clients with empathy, understanding, and compassion.
MY SPECIALTIES
I work with individuals wanting to address issues within their relationships, explore their past selves in order to better understand and feel connected with who they are and want to be, manage anxiety better in their day-to-day lives, and feel supported during major transitions in their life. Issues I find myself typically working with are related to attachment, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, family of origin experiences, life transitions, stress, and self-esteem.
SERVICES OFFERED
I currently offer individual therapy for adults (18+) only.
My current rate is $145 for a 55-minute session.
